Golf Tournament Winners
The ABC Merit Classic Golf Tournament on May 12th was a huge success. One hundred and sixty four players turned out for a day of fun in the perfect New Mexico weather. Thank you again to our sponsors!
The first place team was from Cambro Construction Inc. Shooting a score of 54 were Jerry Camilli, David Camilli, Louie Camilli and Derek Marker. Josh Brokaw, golfing for DKD Electric LLC, won the closest-to-the-pin contest at 28.5 inches. Lence Jorgenson, golfing for Rich Ford, won the longest drive-man contest with a score of 1027 feet. Heidi Beaty, of Beaty Construction Co., Inc., took the longest drive-woman prize with a score of 697 feet.

Beam Club Members Awarded
At the recent ABC lunch, two Beam Club members were recognized for their ongoing commitment to recruiting new members to the New Mexico Chapter. Mark Shumate, Shumate Constructors, Inc. was awarded an ABC shirt and a plaque for recruiting a total of five new members. Bill Smith, Reid & Associates, Inc., was awarded an ABC leather jacket for recruiting a total of ten new members to date. All members who recruit a fellow member are inducted into the ABC Beam Club. Prizes and recognition at a member lunch are awarded for every five members recruited by one individual.
