Electrical Apprentice

Electrical Apprentice Position(s) available for commercial work in Albuquerque and surrounding areas.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Seeking an Electrical Apprentice who will assist in installation, retrofit, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Able to follow instructions through excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Use all power tools such as saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, knockout punches, etc. (must have own tools)
  • Operate equipment such as scissorlift, boom, forklift, etc.
  • Perform work at various heights
  • Operate company vehicles
  • Ability to perform services throughout New Mexico, including possible overnight travel
  • Sign Installation experience - preferred

 

 

Position Requirements

  • (1) year of pervious electrical experience
  • Must have reliable transportation, current driver license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background check

Journeyman Electrician (EE-98J) - Move to Albuquerque, NM

Journeyman Electrician Position(s) available for commercial work in Albuquerque and surrounding areas.

License EE98J

Responsibilities include:

Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, etc. Installs, connects, tests, and sustains electrical systems for a variety of purposes.

Qualifications

  • Must have Service Work experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve issues related to electrical and sign work
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Organizational skills, ability to prioritize, reliable and efficient
  • Use all power tools such as saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, knockout punches, etc. (must have own tools)
  • Operate equipment such as scissorlift, boom, forklift, etc.
  • Perform work at various heights
  • Operate company vehicles
  • Ability to perform services throughout New Mexico, including possible overnight travel
  • Sign Installation experience - preferred

TRAINING COORDINATORFull-time position available with AUI Inc., an EEO heavy/highway construction company (License #20617).  We are seeking an individual who is an experienced Training Coordinator.  Coordinates and administers AUI’s sponsored non-manual and/or manual training programs.  Develops and manages training program, training objectives, course content, and instructional materials.  Minimum of five years experience preferred.  This position requires excellent communication skills both oral and written.  Applicant should be computer literate in MS Word and MS Excel. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.  Applicant must be self-motivated, responsible and goal-oriented. Ability to travel occasionally is required.
