ABC NM has been at the forefront of the battle to keep NM Senate Bill 33 from becoming a reality. Senate Bill 33 was passed at the NM State Legislative session in 2009 and stipulates that prevailing wage shall be set by Collective Bargaining Agreements.
ABC NM stood in opposition against this legislation and continues to fight this in the NM Court system on behalf of our members.
